Summer Updates and Livestreams!

Here in Colorado we’re having our first series of 90 degree days, so it must be summer. Yay! Obviously not a normal summer, but summer none the less. While live shows continue to be scarce in this pandemic, and I’m resigned to probably not playing in a traditional setting for a while (maybe until 2021), that hasn’t stopped us from having fun and making music.

On the 30th we hosted a few friends in our backyard and livestreamed a Patio Release show. The sound quality wasn’t all we had hoped for on the livestream, but thanks to all those who tuned in. I’ve posted a few clips on youtube shot with a different camera- they do a much better job of capturing the whole thing with some good audio.

Our lead off song was a cover of Chris Stapleton’s awesome song ‘Midnight Train.’ Thanks to John and Derek for being terrific bandmates!

So, on to upcoming things:

Tomorrow, Father’s Day, I’ll be doing a streaming show with my awesome sister, Ann Stott, on instagram. Follow either my sister or myself to catch that show. It’ll be like Donny and Marie, only no ice skating, less smiling, and a lot more tattoos.

On June 27th we’re having another Patio Show, this time with some friends. Finn O’Sullivan and Jeanne McAdara will be doing solo sets, John Bunzli will do a duo set, and the Jay Stott Trio will throw down a few tunes as well. That will be livestreamed from my Facebook page, so be sure to follow there.

Stay tuned for info about the upcoming Underdog Music Festival in July. The Jay Stott Trio will be doing a set in that online festival hosted by Dog House Music Studios– one of my favorite Front Range music hang outs and some great supporters of the indy music community here in Colorado.

Be safe, wear your mask, wash your hands, protect others, rock on.
