This is the first of what I hope will be a line of songs I’ll be releasing. The goal is to drop something every six to eight weeks. Not because that’s smart, but just because I really like making stuff.
Just so you know, that’s John Bunzli on guitar, Derek Kirkman on bass, and Brian McRae on drums. The recording was split between WreckingRoom Studio here in Lyons and John’s place up in Loveland. Working with these guys has been so awesome, and the sound of what we’re making just makes me all tingly. It really is great and I’m thrilled to be sharing this stuff. But mostly I just love making stuff.
I wrote this song in the run up to the last election- hopefully the song speaks for itself (I’ll let you be the judge).
