If you’re reading this and you celebrate Thanksgiving, hope it’s happy for you. If you’re reading this and you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, I still hope you have a great week! We’re settled in here in Colorado and prepping for overeating. I actually really love the Thanksgiving meal tradition- all the stuff. I’m in charge of turkeys in this house (I’m in charge of all dead animal handling actually).
It’s also the kickoff (for me) of the true winter season- skiing! We do have some snow here, but it’s early still. I’m hoping to get a few runs in this weekend. The weather report is for snow tonight! One can hope.
In music land, it’s traditional to try and sell a bunch of stuff this week (as anybody with any kind of retail business knows). I generally don’t sell that much merch, not for lack of trying, but hey, I’m small time. So I didn’t really do the big press this week. That said, if you’re jonesing for some stuff, you’re welcome to take 10% off with the code thankyou10 when you check out. The only reason it might be worth your while is I have some new designs coming in the new year. I’m going to retire most of what’s in the store at that point (back stock will be available, but not for long).
Have you given the new single a listen yet? Or watched the video? It’s streaming everywhere, so whatever your preference, you can find it.
There will be new music coming in December, so stay tuned. If you follow on Spotify or Apple Music or Tidal, you’ll get the new song as soon as it drops. I’m looking forward to putting it out there. It’ll have a very different vibe from the last singles. It’s not at all a ‘holiday’ song, but I think it’s for sure got a winter feel to it.
And the last two shows of the year are coming. I’ll be with the fellas as a trio at Black and Blues, one of our favorite hangouts, in Loveland, CO on Dec. 9. The final outing of the year is solo up in Nederland at Very Nice Brewing. Then nothing on the calendar until February of 2024!!! Wow, another year already.
Enjoy your day, stay warm, and be well.
